Dr. Robert Hutchison

One of our founding members and the Director of the Center for Canine and Feline Reproductions and Infertility. Dr. Hutchison has lectured around the world on the topic of canine reproduction. He also enjoys owning and racing Standardbred horses with his son, Dr. Randy.

Dr. Brian Greenfield

Enjoys skiing, boating, and scuba diving with his wife and kids. When not at the office, he can be found in the audience at Playhouse Square, watching his kids’ hockey games and rock band, Filler, perform, or taking his dogs, Bagby and Gia, for a walk to the beach.

Dr. Nancy Grzenda-Schuler

Enjoys swimming, trail riding, and living an active lifestyle with her husband. They have a golden retriever named Eleanor, two horses, and Louie, a Diamond Dove.

Dr. Michelle Miller

Loves traveling the world with her husband, Chris and has visited Alaska, Hawaii, Fiji, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Mexico, the Galapagos Islands… so far! When at home, she enjoys reading and spending time with her cat, Money Penny, whom she rescued as a kitten with a broken leg. She is also a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan and loves the college football season.

Dr. Becca Pentecost

Enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband. Her interest in canine reproduction extends into her personal life, where she is active in the breeding and showing of Chinese Shar-Pei, under the kennel name Shine Shar-Pei.

Dr. Alana Czerwien

Dr. Czerwien grew up in the greater Cleveland area and loves life near the lake. In her free time she enjoys hanging out on Lake Erie and the local islands, as well as spending time at home with her pets and cooking with her husband, Jimi. She has a small flock of domestic ducks and parrots, which have driven her passion for avian medicine.

Dr. Allison Riedl

Enjoys riding horses, swimming, running, and competing with her Champion Brittnays in AKC horseback pointing dog field trials and shows. Her small family farm is home to her husband, two children, seven Brittnays, cats, horses, and a variety of livestock including cows, pigs, goats, and chickens.

Dr. Derek Howell

Started his veterinary career at Animal Clinic Northview back in high school when he was hired as part of the kennel staff and has never left. When he is not at work, he enjoys playing board games, watching Cleveland and Ohio State sports, and spending time with his two dogs and two cats.

Dr. Emily Cosentino

Dr. Cosentino knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since the first grade when her family adopted their first dog, Diamond. She now has two loveable dogs of her own, a golden retriever, Winnie, and a toy poodle, Lucy.

Dr. Teresa Cunningham

Enjoys swimming, cooking, reading, and spending time with her dogs, Nati and Norman. She also competes in dock jumping competitions with Norman. In addition, she is a huge sports fan and especially loves The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Dr. Catherine Lavigne

In her free time, Dr. Lavigne enjoys spending time at the barn with her horse Govenor and going riding. She enjoys traveling, kayaking, and hiking with her dog Tiko. Her favorite place that she has traveled to was Croatia.

Dr. Leigh Mooney

Prior to Animal Clinic Northview she worked 16years at a 24/7 ER/GP hospital.  Her interests include emergency medicine and surgery as well as client education.  She thinks it is super important that owners understand the disease process(es) that their pet experiencing and how to be most successful moving forward. She and her husband live on a farm with their twin daughters and many cats, dogs and horses. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family. Practicing yoga and spending as much time in the barn as possible.  Most weekends she can be found at some sort of equestrian event, usually dressage clinics, dressage shows, hunter paces or trail riding with family.

Dr. Connor Cashman

Enjoys spending his time outdoors. Some of his favorite hobbies include fishing, kayaking and camping.  Dr. Cashman grew up breeding Golden Retrievers with his family, and has continued showing his two goldens, Clark and Pearl.

Dr. Emily Dible

Dr. Dible graduated from The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She Enjoys traveling, hiking, house plants, and spending time with her dog, Sammie. She is also a huge Ohio State football fan and loves traveling to watch them play.

Dr. Grace Schmeiser

Dr. Schmeiser graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She recently completed her certifications in physical rehabilitation and acupuncture through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Schmeiser is passionate about improving the quality of life for pets through advanced therapeutic techniques. When she is not at the clinic, you can usually find Dr. Schmeiser outdoors! In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and kayaking with her dog, Nokona. She and Nokona also spend time playing several dog sports together, including barn hunt and dock diving.

Dr. Alex Huzl

Dr. Huzl graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She enjoys spending time outside on her family’s apple orchard with her son, Oliver and husband, Travis. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her two dogs – Jake, an Australian Shepherd, and Brody, a Pit Bull, and her two cats – Skittles and Hobson.

Dr. Abby Kordel

Dr. Abbey Kordel has been an animal lover since childhood. She is a native of the surrounding Cleveland area and was raised in the neighboring community of Hudson, Ohio. In her free time, Abbey enjoys playing sand volleyball, traveling, running and spending time with friends and family. She and her husband, Brad, have two pit mixes named Leonardo and Paloma as well as 3 cats, Darla, Spanky and Alfalfa.

Dr. Ariel Taylor

Dr. Meredith Kitzel

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kitzel enjoys spending time riding and competing her horse in show jumping and doing CrossFit. At home, she has two corgis, Kip and Tully, and a cat, Hobbs.

Dr. Carrie Russell

Dr. Russell is a 2002 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing primarily emergency medicine for over 17 years. She has a primary interest in emergency and critical care medicine, soft tissue surgery, and helping pets age gracefully.

Dr. Russell is married with 2 teenagers. She has several dogs and cats and a couple horses. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Ranga Mamidi

Dr. Ranganath Mamidi (Ranga) is a veterinarian with expertise in large animal medicine and a specialist in cardiac muscle physiology. After his veterinary degree in India, he pursued a PhD at Washington State University and completed postdoctoral fellowships at Case Western Reserve University, contributing to over 25 research publications in his field. In 2019, Ranga earned his U.S. veterinary practice license through the ECFVG program by the American Veterinary Medical Association. He has since worked at Banfield and West Park Animal Hospital, and now brings his extensive experience to our team, focusing on general practice and emergency medicine. Outside of work, Ranga enjoys traveling with his family, cricket, and keeping up with cardiac physiology research.

Dr. Brandon Byrd

Dr. Byrd grew up in the greater Cleveland area. His father showed English Mastiffs which help drive Dr. Byrd’s passion for veterinary medicine. He played collegiate football and conducted ecology research while earning his bachelor’s in biology at Kenyon College in 2018. He then earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 2024.

Dr. Byrd enjoys spending time with his Newfoundland – Sol and his domestic short hair cat – Luna. He is a huge sports fan and loves watching Cleveland and Ohio State sports. Dr. Byrd still plays competitive flag football and enjoys reading and collecting comic books in free time.

Dr. Jeffrey Milner

Dr. Jeffery Milner earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Connecticut, Storrs in 2012, followed by his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. He has a strong passion for Emergency Medicine, Reptile and Amphibian Medicine, as well as Mixed Animal Medicine and Surgery. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Milner enjoys motorcycle riding, raising and breeding axolotls, and spending quality time with his many animals.

Tracy Thompson – Hospital Administrator

Tracy has always had a strong passion for animals and the veterinary field. She has Business Management and Business Communication background.

She has raised and shown English Springer Spaniels for 15 plus years and has added Golden Retrievers to her family. She enjoys bike riding, outdoor activities, dancing, and spending time at the beach with her family and 3 dogs, Kiera, Summer and Viola.

Jillian Kuhl – Staff Manager

Jillian loves living in the country and spending time with her husband, Brandon and most recently her daughter, Raleigh. Family is everything to her. She has 4 dogs named Ruby (being the favorite – as she made the picture), Roy, Piper and Gomer. She takes pride in everything she does at work and away from work. She is also a Registered Veterinary Technician along with being the Staff Manager at Animal Clinic Northview.
