what we do

We have the experience, the technology and the resources to provide the best possible medical care for your pet.

Aquatic Therapy provides the perfect environment for both exercise and rehabilitation. The buoyancy of the water decreases the force of gravity, creating less impact on the bones and joints, while resistance aids in strengthening and conditioning.

Laser Therapy uses low levels of red and near infrared concentrated light to help accelerate tissue repair and cell growth for faster healing. Laser Therapy also helps reduce pain and inflammation, increases vascular activity and improves nerve function.

We evaluate each patient and design a set of exercises that are most effective for each stage of the patient’s rehabilitation. Exercises are designed to help speed recovery, increase muscle mass and strength, improve balance and coordination, and encourage limb use.

  • Increase Muscle Strength
  • Decrease Pain
  • Improve Endurance
  • Accelerate Rate of Recovery

Whether your dog participates in agility, obedience, field trials or conformation, conditioning will help your dog to be physically prepared for the task. An individualized program is developed to improve body condition, increase endurance, flexibility, and strength.

It has been estimated that over 50% of U.S. dogs and cats are overweight. Losing even a few pounds can have a significant impact on your pet’s health and wellbeing. Our Rehabilitation Department can create a weight loss program designed for your pet, including monitoring your pet’s diet and increasing activity and exercise.

Having a repro specialist like Animal Clinic is invaluable and gives a breeder resources—I've had many finished Champions and continue to develop my 10 generation line with over 200 AKC titles. Having instant access to any dog I store has allowed me to breed to progeny in a way that suits my breeding style.

Andrea Hogben

Since 2003 ACN has maintained my vote for the best pet care in the tristate area. From routine wellness to highly specialized medicine, they’re a super responsive team for everything. I take great comfort in knowing they’re open 24 hours a day in case of emergency and genuinely care about the wellbeing of my four-legged family.
